The use of a lift then becomes an essential solution to ensure both the safety of your belongings and the efficiency of operations. At Déménagements DiaDem, our mission is to support you at every step with rigor and transparency, while offering you a tailored service, adapted to your specific needs and constraints. ## Why choose a move with a lift in Paris? Paris and its surrounding suburbs present particularities that often complicate traditional moves: narrow staircases, cramped elevators, old buildings, restricted or regulated access. In this context, the lift becomes an essential asset. It allows you to move your bulky items — such as a piano, a sofa, or a wardrobe — without risking damage to common areas or endangering your safety. This professional solution also ensures considerable time savings by limiting trips and handling. Calling on a qualified company like Déménagements DiaDem guarantees compliance with regulations, technical mastery, and the use of controlled equipment. Our experienced and trained team takes care of all the steps so that your move goes smoothly, respecting the rules and deadlines. ## Key steps to prepare for a move with a lift A successful move requires meticulous anticipation: identifying needs, choosing the appropriate package, administrative procedures, and logistical organization. Here are the main steps to follow: 1. **Assessment of the volume to be moved**: Take inventory of your belongings and identify those that will require the use of the lift (heavy furniture, appliances, valuable items). This analysis will allow you to choose the most appropriate package, from economical to luxury. 2. **Request for parking authorization**: In Paris, using a lift requires prior authorization from the town hall to occupy public space. Déménagements DiaDem handles these procedures, but it is recommended to start at least 2 to 3 weeks in advance to avoid any surprises on the big day. 3. **Access verification**: Ensure that the space in front of the building or house is accessible to install the lift, taking into account road constraints and authorized hours in your district. 4. **Packing and protecting furniture**: Use suitable materials (reinforced boxes, blankets, bubble wrap) to secure your belongings. You can acquire these supplies directly through our packaging material sales service. 5. **Coordination on moving day**: Our specialized technician ensures the secure installation of the lift and the proper execution of operations, while respecting safety and neighborhood rules. Our teams follow a strict protocol: equipment verification, installation of the lift by a qualified technician, respect for neighbors and regulatory constraints. Our commitment also includes combating illegal work, in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Economy. This professionalism translates into a relationship of trust, personalized support, and availability at every stage of the project. ## Storage and complementary services: a global solution Moving with a lift often integrates into a larger project requiring temporary storage solutions or complementary services. Déménagements DiaDem offers a secure storage service in Gonesse, just 20 minutes from Paris, with 24/7 surveillance and different container capacities (8m³ or 12m³). We also offer packaging material sales, lift rental with technician, and a specialized transport service (notably for pianos). This global approach allows you to master every aspect of your project, with complete peace of mind. For professionals or companies in transition, our expertise in administrative and logistical transfers ensures efficient organization, minimizing the impact on your activity and respecting regulatory requirements in the sector (INSEE - Changes in the moving sector). ## Administrative procedures and best practices in Paris Installing a lift in the capital requires compliance with current legislation: submitting a request for authorization to the town hall, respecting working hours, securing the perimeter, and informing residents. Our teams handle all these procedures to guarantee you a smooth organization, compliant with regulations. For more information on administrative obligations in Paris, consult the practical moving advice from the City of Paris. We also recommend regularly consulting professional news and official recommendations from the sector, such as those from the [French Federation of Movers](https://www.federation-demenagement.org/), to stay informed about regulatory developments and best practices. ## Conclusion: your project simplified thanks to DiaDem's expertise Choosing a move with a lift at Déménagements DiaDem means opting for peace of mind: you benefit from rigorous organization, professional equipment, and personalized support from the quote to execution.
