BOURRIENNE PARIS X
Founded in 2017, Bourrienne Paris X reinvents the white shirt by reviving details from the past. A true artisan of detail, the House makes this emblematic garment the common denominator between heritage and modernity. Today, each shirt offers a balance between uniqueness and authenticity, through a multitude of collars, cuffs, plastrons, and embroideries that reflect its infinite creativity. Behind this aesthetic ideal lies a unique creative concept, inspired by an exceptional heritage.
AUTHENTICITY
By freeing itself from codes and artifice, the Bourrienne shirt encourages natural elegance and authenticity. Our artisanal expertise is evident in the hidden details of each shirt.
IMPERTINENCE
We embrace a form of impertinence and character in our collections, as well as in our tone.
TIMELESSNESS
We wanted to build a timeless universe, unlike any other, yet reflective of who we are. We draw from archives to ensure each garment continues the story.
CREATIVITY
By choosing the white shirt, Bourrienne Paris X aims to give free rein to the creativity of the wearer. As a versatile garment, the white shirt is meant to be a blank canvas.
L’HÔTEL DE BOURRIENNE
ONE OF PARISIAN MOST SECRET GEMS
Built from 1787, the Hôtel de Bourrienne is a unique Parisian symbol, preserving interiors from the Directoire period that remain intact to this day. From 1792, it was inhabited by Fortunée Hamelin, who transformed the Hôtel into one of the most sought-after salons of the time, frequented by figures such as Bonaparte, Talleyrand, or Chateaubriand. Men, already modern, debated in white shirts. As a muse of the fashion movement known as «Les Merveilleuses», Fortunée Hamelin caused a sensation throughout Paris, once strolling the Champs-Élysées dressed only in a simple flesh-colored gauze cloth, split to the hips. Mischievous and irreverent, Fortunée gives our collections a singular soul. The building was later purchased by Louis-Antoine Fauvelet de Bourrienne, Napoleon’s private secretary, who gave it his name. Entrepreneur at heart, Charles Beigbeder revived the Hôtel de Bourrienne through an eponymous collection.
TWO CO-FOUNDERS, ONE SHARED VISION
Bourrienne Paris X was born from the meeting of two perspectives, two sensibilities, and two deeply complementary areas of expertise: Carine Beigbeder and Cécile Faucheur. Together, they combine strategic vision and artistic excellence to build an independent, sustainable, and unique fashion house. One structures, plans, and establishes the brand over time. The other imagines, designs, and breathes life into the collections. Together, Carine Beigbeder and Cécile Faucheur give Bourrienne Paris X its unique balance: a brand that is both strategic and sensitive, rigorous and inspired, traditional and contemporary. Two co-founders, one shared ambition: to bring the white shirt to life as a reinvented heritage piece.
TAILORING
The tailoring of Bourrienne Paris X shirts requires expertise and special attention. Some steps are entirely handcrafted, without the use of machines.
PLEATED
Our pleated bibs are made by hand in a workshop in Brittany, a know-how passed down from generation to generation since 1956.
EMBROIDERIES
Handcrafted by an artisan from Northern France, our embroideries revisit patterns from the frescoes of the Hôtel de Bourrienne, bringing the Hotel legacy to life on a garment. Two key words: craftsmanship and precision.
THE BOURRIENNE MAN
Uniqueness, Creativity, Simplicity, Authenticity, Elegance. By nature, the Bourrienne man seeks beauty, timelessness, strength of character, and a passion for history and stories. Whether an intellectual, businessman, athlete, or artist, the Bourrienne man seeks well-crafted garments, precise cuts, and quality fabrics, testaments to exceptional expertise and perpetuated craftsmanship.
THE BOURRIENNE WOMAN
The Bourrienne woman is independent, passionate, and free. Her strengths and vulnerabilities merge, giving her a unique allure. She draws strength from simplicity and makes sobriety a style statement. Inspired by the heritage of white shirts and noble fabrics, the Bourrienne woman creates a dialogue between past and present. She wears her clothes like a second skin, with each piece becoming a reflection of her unique personality. The Bourrienne woman knows that true luxury lies in purity, in details carefully crafted, and in the way a garment is made to last: silent, simple, raw luxury.
THE ICONIC LINE
The «Iconic» collection of Bourrienne Paris X embodies the brand’s timeless essence through carefully crafted pieces designed to last, both in style and quality. Each garment in this permanent collection, inspired by the elegance of historical shirts, stands out with its subtle details, such as delicate pleats, emblematic plastrons, or ruffled cuffs, reinterpreted with a modern touch. The «Iconic» pieces celebrate the purity of white but can also be created in a new color or fabric as seasons and desires change.
