Throughout the duration of your contract, the teams at Allianz will mobilize to meet your expectations.
Your contract consists of several documents:
- These General Terms: they describe the content of the guarantees, Pack, and options we offer you. They specify the functioning of compensation in case of a claim as well as the life of your contract. They also include a glossary grouping the definitions of several essential terms for the proper understanding of the contract.
- Your Particular Terms: they include your personal declarations. They indicate the effective date of your guarantees and specify the Pack, options, and deductibles you have chosen as well as your premium. They also integrate specific clauses to adapt the contract to your situation.
- Possibly, annexes: they define specific guarantees.
The Particular Terms and annexes prevail over the General Terms in case of contradiction between them.

8. YOUR INSURANCE CONCRETELY
Your insurance concretely
If you have subscribed to the Assistance guarantee, according to the mention in the Particular Terms:

With the Replacement Vehicle option, if mentioned in the Particular Terms, you have a replacement vehicle of the same category as yours or category B for up to 30 days.

Good to know
- Are you out of gas?
- We do everything possible to allow you to get fuel. We can also provide you with a taxi.
- Did you lose your car keys?
- We will send you the duplicate of your keys.
- A breakdown also includes: a flat tire, fuel error, or keys locked in your vehicle.
Civil liability, what is it?
It is the minimum mandatory guarantee when you own a vehicle. It allows for the financial coverage of bodily, material, or immaterial damages (loss of revenue, travel expenses, for example) that you may cause to others, in the event of an accident for which you are responsible and involving your vehicle.
For example: you hit your neighbor's gate. Thanks to your civil liability guarantee, we will cover the costs to replace the gate. You will not have to pay anything, except for the deductible if your contract provides for it.

All risks, what exactly is it?
The All Risks formula (C3) offers you extended protection. It includes, in particular, the All accident damage guarantee. With this guarantee, we cover all damages that your vehicle may suffer in the event of a responsible or non-responsible accident. This applies, for example, if you hit a tree or if your vehicle is vandalized. For more details, refer to the chapter “Classic guarantees,” paragraph XI.
In All Risks, you are compensated, whether these damages result from an accident, theft, hail damage...
To strengthen your coverage, you can add our Value Plus Pack and our options. For example, with the Content option, we guarantee your transported objects like your computer.
The subscribed guarantees and options apply under the conditions, limits, and exclusions provided in these General Terms and in your Particular Terms.
YOUR INSURANCE CONCRETELY
The deductible, how does it work?
The deductible is the amount that remains your responsibility during our compensation. Depending on the nature of the damage suffered by your vehicle (fire, collision...) and the driver's profile, your contract provides for different types of deductibles. In case of an accident, the formula you have chosen as well as your responsibility determine the amount remaining your responsibility.
What is the Driver's Guarantee for?
We compensate the driver (or their beneficiaries) for the coverage of expenses related to their injuries or death. For example, following a traffic accident, even if responsible, you are injured and have a work stoppage. We compensate, within the limits of the guarantee you have chosen, your lost wages, medical expenses not covered by Social Security or your complementary health insurance.
The + Allianz
The guarantee limit is increased by 50% if you are equipped with a CE certified airbag vest at the time of the accident. This guarantee applies to you and any authorized driver. To know all the conditions, refer to the chapter “Classic guarantees,” paragraph III.
THE MAIN DEFINITIONS
The main definitions
We
“We” in the following text refers to Allianz IARD or AWP P&C for assistance services, unless specific provisions in the Particular Terms.
You
“You” refers to the subscriber, unless specific provisions are provided in the context of the guarantees.
Insured
The subscriber, the owner of the insured vehicle, or any other person who, with their authorization, drives or has custody of this vehicle. The definition of the insured, when different from this, appears at the beginning of the guarantee.
Exclusion
Professionals in repair, sales, and technical control (including individuals working in the operation of these) are not considered insured when they are driving or have custody of the vehicle in the performance of their duties.
Regular driver
The person designated in the Particular Terms who drives the insured vehicle most frequently and regularly.
Authorized driver
Any person driving the insured vehicle with your authorization. This authorized driver may, with your agreement, transfer custody or driving to another person.
Type of vehicle
- Motorcycle: motorized land vehicle with 2 or 3 wheels with a displacement greater than 50 cm³ or a power greater than 4 kW.
- Moped: motorized land vehicle with 2 or 3 wheels with a displacement less than or equal to 50 cm³ or a power less than or equal to 4 kW.
- Leisure quad/SSV: recreational all-terrain vehicle, equipped with an open body, wide tires, a steering wheel, and a rear-mounted engine with two rear driving wheels or four for an SSV, having 2 or 4 seats.
- Classic 2 wheels: vehicle with 2 or 3 wheels with a displacement greater than 50 cm³ or a power greater than 4 kW meeting the following cumulative conditions:
- factory released or registered for at least 30 years,
- of a defunct brand or abandoned type, of limited distribution, without “Argus” rating,
- having undergone no essential modification concerning the technical characteristics of its main components,
- whose preservation presents an interest due to its sporting character, rarity, or antiquity.

CLASSIC GUARANTEES
The guarantees you benefit from are those mentioned as subscribed in the Particular Terms.
I. Civil Liability Guarantee
1. Who is insured?
- You, the subscriber of the contract,
- the owner of the insured vehicle,
- any authorized or unauthorized person, having custody or driving the insured vehicle. However, we retain the right to exercise recourse against the unauthorized driver for all compensations we had to pay,
- the passengers of the insured vehicle,
- if the contract is subscribed by a company for its own account, its directors, managers, and officers.
2. What we guarantee
When your civil liability is engaged, we guarantee the financial consequences of the civil liability you may incur due to:
- bodily, material, and immaterial damages caused to others by:
- an accident, a fire, or an explosion,
- an accidental environmental harm, including emergency costs,
- an accidental ecological damage, including costs for preventing ecological damage, involving the insured vehicle (including when used as a tool), its accessories, the objects and substances it transports, even in case of a fall, the materials it projects or deposits on the road.
The guarantee is triggered by a damaging event (article L124-5, 3rd paragraph of the Insurance Code). It covers you against the financial consequences of claims engaging your civil liability, as long as the damaging event occurs between the initial effective date of the guarantee and its termination or expiration date, regardless of the date of other elements constituting the claim.
However:
The civil liability guarantee in case of ecological damage does not apply to damages that have led to legal action initiated before the publication of law n° 2016-1087 in the official journal of the French Republic on August 9, 2016.
What we also guarantee
Voluntary assistance
We guarantee your civil liability when, during the circulation of the insured vehicle, you cause damages while assisting others or benefiting yourself from help, including in case of occasional towing. We also cover the costs of restoring the interior fittings of the insured vehicle, your clothing, and those of other passengers, when they are damaged during the voluntary transport of the injured.
Driving without your minor child’s knowledge
We guarantee the civil liability of your minor child who does not hold a valid driving license when they drive your vehicle without your knowledge. In this case, the damages will be settled to the third party, but we will charge you a deductible of €750 per claim.
Loan of the insured vehicle
We guarantee the civil liability you may incur, as the owner, due to bodily and/or material damages suffered by the authorized driver to whom you have lent your vehicle.
Your gross fault as an employer
We guarantee the financial consequences of your civil liability:
- due to damages suffered by your employees following a work accident caused by the intentional fault of another of your employees (article L452-5 of the Social Security Code),
- in case of recourse following the pronouncement of your gross fault:
- for the additional contributions provided for in article L452-2 of the Social Security Code,
- for the compensations paid under recourse directed against you by one and/or the other of the following persons:
- Social Security or any other mandatory social protection organization,
- your injured employee,
- their beneficiaries,
- where applicable, their employer who temporarily placed the injured employee under your orders,
- due to bodily damages caused to your employees by a work accident or an occupational disease (or recognized as of occupational origin) resulting from a gross fault committed either by yourself or by a person you have substituted in the management of the company.
Exclusions
We do not guarantee, under the guarantee...
Civil liability, in addition to general exclusions:
- Recourses exercised as a sanction by Social Security for violations of the provisions of articles L471-1, L244-8, and L374-1 of the Social Security Code as well as the sums claimed under articles L242-7 and L412-3, and L241-5-1 of the same Code.
- Recourses exercised by persons who do not have the status of beneficiaries of the injured employee under the strict regard of the legislation on work accidents and occupational diseases.
Important
In case of theft of the insured vehicle, the civil liability guarantee automatically ceases its effects no later than 30 days after the declaration of theft to the competent authorities unless it has been transferred to a replacement vehicle. However, the guarantee will continue to be available to you until the next annual contract due date, in case your liability is sought for damages caused to a public work. These provisions do not impede the effects of a legal or contractual suspension or termination, which would result from a notification or agreement prior to the theft.
Exclusions
We do not guarantee, under the civil liability guarantee, in addition to general exclusions:
- Damages or aggravation of damages suffered by:
- The driver of the insured vehicle (these damages are covered by the Driver's guarantee).
- The authors, co-authors, or accomplices of the theft of the insured vehicle.
- Your employees or agents who are victims, during their service, of an accident in which the insured vehicle is involved, driven by yourself or one of your agents or a person belonging to your company and occurred on a road not open to public traffic, except in case of gross fault.
- Goods and objects transported by the insured vehicle.
- Buildings, things, or animals belonging, rented, or entrusted in any capacity to the driver of the insured vehicle. However, we guarantee the liability you may incur as the custodian of the insured vehicle for damages resulting from fire or explosion caused to the building where the vehicle is parked for the part you do not own.
- The insured vehicle.
- Passengers, when they are not transported under sufficient safety conditions as defined in article A211-3 of the Insurance Code. Regarding two-wheeled vehicles and tricycles, when the vehicle carries only one passenger in addition to the driver; a second passenger may, however, be transported when the vehicle is a tandem. Moreover, when the vehicle is equipped with a sidecar, the number of persons transported in it must not exceed the number of places provided by the manufacturer; the presence of a child under five years old, accompanied by an adult, does not imply exceeding this limit. This exclusion is not enforceable against victims or their beneficiaries.
- Damages or aggravation of damages engaging your liability and occurring during trials, races, competitions, or their trials, subject by the regulations in force to prior authorization from the public authorities. Damages occurring during regularity rallies and tourist concentrations remain guaranteed. We mean by:
- Regularity rally: Participation of the insured vehicle in driving on a road not exceeding 50 km/h, in compliance with the provisions of the Highway Code.
- Tourist concentrations: Gathering of motorized land vehicles, taking place on public roads or open to public traffic in compliance with the Highway Code, imposing on participants one or more gathering or passage points and which is devoid of any classification or competitive character. If the usage limitations justifying this exclusion are not respected, the penalties provided for in article L211-26 and the increase provided for in article L211-27, first paragraph, of the Insurance Code will be incurred. This exclusion is not enforceable against victims or their beneficiaries.
- The civil liability that may be incurred, when they are in the performance of their duties, by professionals in repair, sales, and technical control, as well as persons working in the operation of these. These professions are subject to a specific insurance obligation.
- Environmental damage and ecological harm that do not have an accidental character.
- Fees and taxes charged to you under the regulations on environmental protection.
II. Defense of your interests following an accident
1. Civil defense guarantee and recourse following an accident
In case of a traffic accident when the civil liability guarantee provided in this chapter, paragraph I, is available to you, we assume your civil defense before all jurisdictions in case of legal action simultaneously involving your interests and ours. The terms of application of this guarantee are in the chapter “Compensation,” paragraph II.1.a, of these General Terms. We can also, during this legal action, take charge of presenting your personal claim, to the extent that the civil liability of a third party would be partially engaged.
2. Criminal defense guarantee and recourse following an accident
To provide you with the best possible service, we have entrusted the management of “Criminal defense and recourse” claims to an autonomous and distinct service:

or any other organization that may be substituted for it and that has been communicated to you by any means. Your usual Allianz contact is also at your complete disposal to provide you with any assistance within the framework of this guarantee.
a. Who benefits from the guarantee?
We mean by “You”:
- the subscriber, the owner of the insured vehicle, the authorized driver,
- if the contract is subscribed by a company for its own account, its directors, managers, and employees,
- as well as the beneficiaries of these persons.
b. What is our role?
In case of a traffic accident involving the insured vehicle, we provide you with help and assistance to:
- Ensure your defense when you are subject to criminal prosecution before criminal courts while the insured vehicle is used under the conditions provided by this contract.
- Exercise your recourse when you are a victim of damages attributable to a third party. We commit to:
- inform you about the extent of your rights, and give you all advice and guidance to assert them,
- implement all amicable or judicial means to obtain compensation for your harm.
c. Application method and covered costs
We cover, up to €10,000 per claim:
- expert fees,
- fees and/or honoraria of legal auxiliaries to assert your rights,
- costs unless you lose the action and must reimburse them to your opponent.
If the assistance of a lawyer (or any person qualified by the legislation in force) is necessary, you have the freedom of choice. Upon your written request, we can put you in touch with a lawyer we know. You have the direction of the trial, advised by the lawyer who assists and represents you. We will cover the fees and honoraria of your lawyer within the limits of the amounts listed in the table in Annex 3 and this, for each assistance for instruction or expertise, transaction protocol, order.
Exclusions
We do not cover:
- Sums of any nature that you may be condemned to pay: principal condemnation, fine, damages, costs (if you must reimburse them to your opponent), compensation awarded under article 700 of the Civil Procedure Code and its equivalents.
- Costs and fees incurred by an initiative taken without our prior agreement, unless you justify an urgency in having incurred them.
- Success fees.
- Proportional rights charged to you as a creditor by a judicial officer.
- Judicial recourses for claims amounting to less than €230.
- Investigations to identify or locate the opponent.
- Any costs incurred by you to provide evidence of your harm, unless prior agreement from us.

We do not guarantee, under the defense of your interests guarantee following an accident, in addition to general exclusions:
- Investigations to identify or locate the author of the damages.
- Accidents occurring while:
- you are under the influence of a characterized alcoholic state as defined by the regulations in force;
- or you have used substances or plants classified as narcotics by the national agency for the safety of medicines and health products, not prescribed by a competent medical authority;
- or you have refused to submit to checks intended to establish proof of this state or use. Unless it is established that the accident is unrelated to this state or use.
- Accidents occurring while you were subject to a summons to stop from an official or agent responsible for detecting violations, and to which you did not comply.
III. Driver's Guarantee
1. Who benefits from the guarantee?
We mean by “You”:
- the subscriber of the contract, their spouse/partner linked by a PACS or cohabitant or any person designated as the driver in the Particular Terms,
- any authorized driver, when they drive the insured vehicle or the vehicle made available to you in case of activation of the Replacement Vehicle option.
2. What we guarantee
In case of a traffic accident, whether you are responsible or not, fire, explosion, or natural phenomenon, in which the insured vehicle or the vehicle made available to you in case of activation of the Replacement Vehicle option is involved:
- we compensate you for all damages resulting from bodily injuries you have suffered,
- we compensate the harm suffered by your beneficiaries in case of death.
3. Calculation of compensation
The guarantee limit indicated in the Particular Terms is not a capital amount that is automatically due, even in case of death. The compensation is calculated according to the rules retained by the French courts and tribunals in matters of compensation for victims of traffic accidents, regardless of the location of the claim and within the limit of the guarantee limit indicated in the Particular Terms.
In the absence of death, it notably compensates any permanent impairment to your physical and mental integrity (AIPP). If you choose an option with a disability threshold (present chapter, paragraph III.6. below), this impairment must be greater than the threshold indicated to open the right to compensation for this item of harm.
The compensation is understood after deduction of indemnity-type benefits paid or due by social organizations, the employer, or any other third-party payers referred to in article 29 of the Law of July 5, 1985. In case of death, the compensation repairs the harm suffered by your beneficiaries.
The guarantee limit indicated in the Particular Terms is increased by 50% if, at the time of the accident, the driver is equipped with a CE certified airbag vest. You must respond favorably to our requests for expertise and control of the airbag vest you were wearing at the time of the accident.
4. Payment of an advance in the presence of a responsible third party
In case of a claim covered by this guarantee, when the driver is not responsible or is only partially responsible, the compensation as defined previously is paid as an advance recoverable in whole or in part from a responsible third party. If the amount of the compensation received under recourse is less than the advance, we commit not to claim the difference.
5. Immediate payment in case of death
If the driver dies following a traffic accident, fire, explosion, or natural phenomenon involving the insured vehicle, we will immediately pay €3,000 to the beneficiaries after presentation of the death certificate. This payment is to be deducted from the compensation but does not constitute a waiver on our part to the possible application of a non-guarantee or exclusion of guarantee. In this case, the reimbursement of this payment will be requested from the beneficiaries.
6. Choice of the option with a disability threshold
When you choose an option that shows a disability threshold as indicated in the Particular Terms:
- this applies only to the item of harm “Permanent impairment to physical and mental integrity,” other items of harm are therefore compensated without application of the threshold;
- this threshold constitutes a relative deductible, meaning that in the case of a “Permanent impairment to physical and mental integrity” less than or equal to the indicated threshold, we do not pay any compensation for this item of harm. Conversely, for any “Permanent impairment to physical and mental integrity” greater than this threshold, we compensate you fully within the limit of the guarantee limit.
7. Exclusions
We do not guarantee, under the driver's guarantee, in addition to general exclusions:
- Your damages or aggravation of bodily damages (or your death) when, at the time of the accident, you are not driving the insured vehicle or the vehicle made available to you in case of activation of the Replacement Vehicle option.
- Damages or aggravation of bodily damages (or death) when, at the time of the accident, the driver of the insured vehicle or the vehicle made available to you in case of activation of the Replacement Vehicle option is not the authorized driver. Bodily damages (or death) of your minor child who does not hold a valid driving license, in case of driving without your knowledge of the insured vehicle or the vehicle made available to you in case of activation of the Replacement Vehicle option remain guaranteed.
- Your damages or aggravation of bodily damages (or your death) when, at the time of the accident:
- You are under the influence of a characterized alcoholic state as defined by the regulations in force;
- Or you have used substances or plants classified as narcotics by the National Agency for the Safety of Medicines and Health Products, not prescribed by a competent medical authority;

1. General information

The Assistance Guarantee is insured by:

b. Duration of Assistance services
Assistance services are insured by AWP P&C and offered based on the needs of the beneficiary and the covered events occurring during the validity period of the insurance contract.

Certain terms and expressions have a specific meaning and are defined in this paragraph.
Pet animal
Cat or dog. The concerned animal must have received all mandatory vaccinations. The animal must be kept at the subscriber's home for their personal companionship, and not for commercial purposes.Beneficiary (for roadside assistance and passenger services)

Residual value
Market value decreased by the cost of repairs determined by the garage in case of breakdown (or by the expert appointed by the insurance in case of accident), and any storage costs.
Market value
Value of the vehicle defined by “L’Argus de l’automobile” or by expert's opinion, taking into account all the characteristics of the vehicle as well as the date of first registration of the vehicle, mileage, maintenance, wear condition, the use to which it has been assigned, and the repairs it has undergone.
Vehicle
Motorcycle, moped, leisure quad, SSV, or classic motorcycle designated in the Particular Terms of the Allianz 2 Wheels contract or the rented or borrowed vehicle, of the same category as that designated in the Particular Terms, in case of temporary unavailability (immobilization for repairs following a breakdown, accident, or maintenance) of the latter.

4. Geographic area covered

5. Covered events
Bodily accident
Any bodily injury, resulting from a fortuitous event of which the beneficiary is a victim.Car accident and related events
- Car accident: Any sudden, unforeseen, and involuntary event, any collision, any impact against a fixed or moving object, or any accident that leads to the immobilization of the vehicle and requires repair at a garage.
- Fire: Combustion with flames that damages the vehicle and leads to its immobilization.
- Climatic phenomena: Particular phenomena due to natural causes, such as hail, floods, storms, hurricanes, rain, sleet or snow, wind, lightning, or any other similar event including natural disasters that lead to the immobilization of the vehicle.
- Vandalism: Action of destruction, degradation, or deterioration of your vehicle, voluntary damage committed by third parties including when these events result from an act of sabotage, a riot, or a popular movement requiring repair at a garage. We may ask you for a copy of the police report.
Injury
Bodily injury recognized by a doctor.Driver errors
- Flat tire: Deflation of one or more tires making it impossible to use the vehicle safely, resulting in the immobilization of said vehicle at the incident location and requiring on-site assistance or towing to a garage.

- Discharged electric vehicle battery: Exhaustion of the electric traction battery, resulting in the immobilization of the vehicle at the incident location and requiring on-site assistance or towing to a garage or a charging station.
Hospitalization
Admission planned or unforeseen in a public or private hospital, related to an emergency procedure. A minimum duration of hospitalization may be required for the issuance of certain services. Hospitalization may be outpatient or with overnight stays.
Illness
Any alteration of a person's health condition recognized by a doctor.
Breakdown
Any unforeseen mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, or electronic failure, leading to the immobilization of the vehicle, including a battery breakdown.
Theft and related events
- Theft of the vehicle: Fraudulent removal of the vehicle.
- Attempted theft and theft of parts: Theft or damage to parts or equipment of the vehicle leading to the immobilization of the vehicle.

6. Vehicle and passenger assistance services
If the vehicle is immobilized following a covered event defined in the present chapter, paragraph IV.5. and it can no longer circulate on public roads in accordance with applicable road traffic regulations, we will provide the assistance services indicated below under the conditions and limits indicated for each assistance service in the table in the present chapter, paragraph IV.3.

- For motorcycles, leisure quads/SSV and mopeds: €200 including tax during the day and €300 including tax at night/public holidays/weekends limit /highway, including the use of specialized equipment (cranes, pads, wheels for trailers, etc.).
- For classic motorcycles: €600 including tax during the day and €750 including tax at night/public holidays/weekends limit /highway, including the use of specialized equipment (cranes, pads, wheels for trailers, etc.).
We will cover the costs of replacing small parts on-site within the limit of €20 including tax maximum, such as bulbs, fuses, and the anti-flat kit used to repair the vehicle on-site, if it does not have them.
Towing
In case of immobilization of the vehicle due to an event in the present chapter, paragraph IV.5., and if the vehicle cannot be repaired on-site, our roadside assistance provider transports the vehicle to the nearest garage, up to a maximum amount of:
- For motorcycles, leisure quads/SSV and mopeds: €200 including tax during the day and €300 including tax at night/public holidays/weekends limit /highway, including the use of specialized equipment (cranes, pads, wheels for trailers, etc.).
- For classic motorcycles: €600 including tax during the day and €750 including tax at night/public holidays/weekends limit /highway, including the use of specialized equipment (cranes, pads, wheels for trailers, etc.).
If the repair shop to which the vehicle must be towed is closed (outside of opening hours), the vehicle will be transported to a secure parking lot or warehouse. The vehicle will then be transported to the repair shop on the next business day.
We can organize and cover the costs of a taxi or public transport up to a maximum of €50 including tax at our discretion, for any urgent need.
b. Passenger assistance
Replacement vehicle
- For motorcycles that have subscribed to the option
Following a towing that we have organized, in case of immobilization of the vehicle due to covered events and if the vehicle cannot be repaired on the day of its immobilization or if the vehicle is stolen and not found within 24 hours, we will organize and cover the rental of a replacement vehicle, of equivalent category to that of the vehicle or category B depending on the vehicles available in the rental agency, until the vehicle is repaired and within the limit of the maximum number of days indicated below: - 8 consecutive days in case of breakdown or driver errors,
- 15 consecutive days in case of car accident,
- 30 consecutive days in case of theft.
We organize and cover the costs of transport by taxi or public transport to the rental agency. The rental vehicle must be returned to the rental agency.
The rental is carried out within the limits of local availability, for a driver meeting the conditions required by the rental companies (age, license seniority, deposit by credit card in the name of the driver). You remain solely responsible for the conditions of this rental.
The rental includes the insurer's coverage of the rental of the vehicle with unlimited mileage, as well as premiums corresponding to mandatory (civil liability) and complementary insurance covering accidents with collision insurance without deductible (CDW: Collision Damage Waiver) and theft/vandalism (TP: Theft Protection).
Exclusions
All other costs incurred with the rental vehicle as well as optional additional coverages such as total deductible buyback or personal accident insurance/personal effects (PAI) remain your responsibility.
In case of damages suffered by the rental vehicle, you benefit from a deductible buyback guarantee under your 2 wheels insurance contract. If the rental company charges or debits all or part of the deductible, we will reimburse you the amount of the deductible paid, provided that the rental has been organized and covered by us, and that we receive all necessary supporting documents, namely:
- The rental contract
- The invoice for the deductible accompanied by the proof of payment
- The repair estimate for the rental vehicle or expert report or damage pricing grid
The insurances included in the rental contract may in some cases only partially cover damages to the vehicle.
Hotel accommodation
- For motorcycles and classic motorcycles
If the vehicle is immobilized for less than 2 days following a covered event defined in the present chapter, paragraph IV.5. and if the vehicle is immobilized more than 50 km from the subscriber's home, we organize and cover the hotel accommodation of the beneficiaries during the duration of the vehicle repair, within the limit of 2 nights and €100 including tax per night and per person, tax included, breakfast included.
We organize and cover the costs of transport by taxi or public transport to the hotel.
Return home or continuation of the journey
- For motorcycles and classic motorcycles
If the vehicle is immobilized following a covered event defined in the present chapter, paragraph IV.5. and if the vehicle is immobilized for more than 48 hours or if the vehicle is stolen and not found within 24 hours, we organize the return home or continuation of the journey for all beneficiaries to their home or final destination and will cover the corresponding costs: - by taxi or public transport, within the limit of €100 including tax;
- by train in second class.

- by plane in economy class if the duration of the train journey to the beneficiary's home or to their final destination exceeds 5 hours;
- by means of a rental car, category B depending on the vehicles available in the rental agency for a maximum duration of 48 hours, national return costs included.
If necessary, we organize transport by taxi or public transport to reach the train station, airport, or rental vehicle agency and cover the corresponding costs.
c. Return of the vehicle to the subscriber
Repatriation of the vehicle (from abroad)
For motorcycles and classic motorcycles
If the vehicle is immobilized for more than 5 days and not repairable on-site, following a covered event defined in the present chapter, paragraph IV.5., we organize and cover:
- The repatriation of the vehicle to the nearest garage to your home or workplace.
We cannot be held responsible for any theft or damage to accessories, luggage, objects, and personal effects left in the vehicle during transport.
Transport costs are limited to the value of the vehicle defined by “L’Argus de l’automobile” before the occurrence of the covered event that led to the immobilization of the vehicle.
CLASSIC GUARANTEES
Recovery by the subscriber of the repaired vehicle
For motorcycles and classic motorcycles
Following the repair of the vehicle, we organize and cover the recovery costs by the most appropriate means below:
- Taxi or public transport up to €100 including tax;
- Train in second class;
- By plane in economy class if the duration of the train journey to the beneficiary's home or to their final destination exceeds 5 hours.
We organize and cover transport by taxi or public transport to reach the train station, airport, or rental vehicle agency.
d. Legal abandonment and scrapping
If the vehicle is immobilized abroad following a covered event defined in the present chapter, paragraph IV.5. and the value of the vehicle defined by “L’Argus de l’automobile” is less than the amount of repair or repatriation costs, we may carry out the necessary formalities for the legal abandonment of the vehicle and will cover the corresponding costs.
e. Joker taxi
When the beneficiary believes they are not in a condition to drive safely, we arrange a taxi for the return home, within the limit of €100 including tax per file and 2 trips per annual guarantee period.
f. Recovery of the helmet and gloves
In case of theft of the helmet and/or gloves of the beneficiary during their travel with the vehicle, we organize and cover the costs of a taxi or reimburse a public transport ticket to allow them to recover.
