1. EMOTIONAL – WHAT HE FEELS
- 😟 Stress before homework or tests
- 😡 Anger, tears, tantrums… in the face of difficulties
- 😶 Blockage or silence as soon as school is mentioned
- “I’m useless”
- “I’ll never make it”
- “Others are better than me”
2. VERBAL – WHAT HE SAYS

I transform lost children into motivated young people. They gain confidence, you gain peace of mind in 2 months.
How to recognize them?
3. BEHAVIORAL – WHAT HE DOES (OR DOES NOT DO)
- ⏳ Procrastinates, refuses to start
- 🙋♂ Asks for help immediately without trying
- ✋ Gives up as soon as it gets difficult
What you can do:
- 👉 Rephrase with him, without contradicting him harshly.
- 👉 Note with him a small victory each day, even tiny
Ex: You feel like you’re not making it right now… What if we looked at what you’ve already understood?
What you can do:
- 👉 Create a reassuring ritual before homework (hot drink, calm music).
- 👉 Help him name what he feels: “Do you feel frustrated? Worried? Angry?”
What you can do:
- 👉 Suggest he starts with you, then continues alone for 5 minutes: we build confidence step by step.
- 👉 Celebrate the effort more than the result: “I see that you persevered, even if it was complicated.”
What he really tells you:
- “I doubt myself. I need you to believe in me even when I don’t believe in myself.”
- “School scares me. And I’m afraid you don’t understand how hard it is for me.”
